Align & Create with Sarah Charles

BOOK A SEAT!

With a decade of experience as a licensed massage therapist in NYC, Sarah Charles has worked with both individuals and small groups to facilitate a holistic connection between body and mind in both movement and creativity.

Inspired by her own personal journey, and her experience on the pottery wheel, Sarah Charles is offering this body alignment workshop specifically for potters!  In this 3-week class, students will embark on a journey that goes beyond the pottery wheel, focusing instead on mindful movement. The class will delve into targeted exercises and breathwork to address common postural challenges faced by potters. Discover how micro-movements and subtle adjustments can not only alleviate physical strain, but also enhance the precision and fluidity of your wheel-throwing techniques. Tuition includes up to 10 lbs of clay, materials and firings.  6-hour class   Ages: teen-adult   Level: Intermediate-Advanced
