Scheduled Classes
Get creative! Sign up online to join a scheduled class. Full tuition is due at registration to reserve your seat. A full refund less a 10% registration fee will be given if you withdraw from a class more than 48 hours prior to the first day of class. No refund will be given after that time. A minimum of 3 students is required to hold a class. We reserve the right to cancel classes due to inadequate enrollment and other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a cancellation a full refund will be given.
Learn to create textured handles for your clay creations! In this one-day workshop with Darcy Kane, students will learn how to make and apply textured handles for their pottery. Set aside a few pots from your wheel-throwing class or Open Studio time to apply your handles to, or apply them to your future pottery creations. This is an instructional class that does not include fired pottery. 2-hour class Ages: teen-adult Level: Beginner-Intermediate
Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm | 1-day workshop on October 7 | Tuition $35
Perfect for beginners and intermediates alike! Led by Karissa Masse, this 10-hour class is an excellent introduction to pottery making, as well as a great way to improve your skill. Students will explore wheel throwing, trimming, making handles, decorating and glazing techniques. All materials and firings are included in price. 10-hour class Ages: teen-adult Level: Beginner-Intermediate

Class 3: 3 hours, trimming and handles
Class 4: 2 hours, glazing

Students will explore wheel throwing, trimming, making handles, decorating and glazing techniques. Learn to create your own unique stamps for texturing your clay creations! In this one-day workshop with Darcy Kane, students will come up with their own designs, then build and carve stamps that can be used as tools in their future pottery creations. Use your stamps as decorative elements to add interest and texture to your pots, and/or create a maker’s mark to sign your pots! All materials and firings are included in the price. 2-hour class Ages: teen-adult Level: Beginner-Intermediate

Perfect for beginners and intermediates alike! Led by Stuart Webb, this 10-hour class is an excellent introduction to pottery making, as well as a great way to improve your skill. Students will explore wheel throwing, trimming, making handles, decorating and glazing techniques. Friday afternoons at 2pm | 4-week class starting October 27 | Tuition $180

Class 3: 3 hours, trimming and handles
Class 4: 2 hours, glazing
Learn how to handbuild pottery and clay boxes with basic handbuilding techniques in this three-day workshop with Darcy Kane. Students in this class will learn to use a slab roller and rolling pin to make clay slabs for their projects, and learn some cool new techniques to texture their creations with stamps and textured blocks. All materials and firings are included in the price. 5-hour class Ages: teen-adult Level: Beginner-Intermediate
Saturday afternoons at 2:30pm | 3-week class starting October 16
Class 1: 2 hours, rolling slabs, texturing, handbuilding
Class 2: 2 hours, handbuilding, handles, finishing
Class 3: 1 hours, glazing
These classes fill quickly so don’t delay if you’d like a seat! Pottery classes are scheduled about once a month. You can sign up to get a notification when they open for enrollment by joining our Active Pottery Students email list.
