May classes are now open for enrollment! 

Get creative! Sign up online to join a scheduled class! Full tuition is due upon registration to reserve your seat. A full refund less a 10% registration fee will be given if you withdraw from a class more than 48 hours prior to the first day of class. No refund will be given after that time. A minimum of 3 students is required to hold a class. We reserve the right to cancel classes due to inadequate enrollment and other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a cancellation a full refund will be given.

Surface Design with Stuart Webb

Explore the world of surface design in this intermediate class led by Stuart Webb. After an initial class of throwing pots to create blank canvases, students will learn a variety of decorating techniques including carving, slips, underglazes, and waxing. Take your pots to the next level by adding interest with color and texture. Students in this intermediate class should already have experience throwing and trimming, as the focus will be on surface decoration. Tuition includes up to 10 lbs of clay, materials and firings. 8-hour class Ages: teen-adult Level: Intermediate

Friday afternoons at 2pm | 3-week class starting May 3 | Tuition $150

Class 1: 3 hours, throwing

Class 2: 3 hours, trimming, carving, slips and underglazes

Class 3: 2 hours, waxing and glazing

Centering Clinic with Stuart Webb

BOOK A SEAT!

Led by Stuart Webb, this 2-hour wheel throwing clinic focuses specifically on the goal of centering clay. If you struggle with wobbly pots, this clinic is for you! Learn centering techniques including coning and grounding to center your clay quickly and effortlessly. This class does not include clay or materials, but finishing can be achieved through your Open Studio membership. Firing fees apply. 2-hour class Ages: teen-adult Level: Beginner-Intermediate

Pottery on the Wheel with Karissa Masse

Perfect for beginners and intermediates alike! Led by Karissa Masse, this 10-hour class is an excellent introduction to pottery making, as well as a great way to improve your skill. Students will explore wheel throwing, trimming, making handles, decorating and glazing techniques. Tuition includes up to 10 lbs of clay, materials and firings. 10-hour class   Ages: teen-adult   Level: Beginner-Intermediate

Wednesday afternoons at 2pm | 4-week class starting May 15 | Tuition $190

Class 1: 3 hours, throwing

Class 2: 2 hours, throwing

Class 3: 3 hours, trimming and handles

Class 4: 2 hours, glazing

Throwing Tall Clinic with Stuart Webb

BOOK A SEAT!

Led by Stuart Webb, this 2-hour wheel throwing clinic focuses specifically on getting more height out of your clay. Stuart will offer pulling techniques, hints and tricks to help you grow your pot and stand your clay up tall. Get straight to the crux and leave your heavy skirted pottery behind. Make tall forms with lift! This class does not include clay or materials, but finishing can be achieved through your Open Studio membership. Firing fees apply. 2-hour class Ages: teen-adult Level: Beginner-Intermediate
